Cooking can easily get boring if you're continuously making the same foods, that's why we say experiment! You can even make variations of foods you love by switching out a specific ingredient or the entirety of the flavors. Some recipes have taken social media by the throat in the past few months and they’re definitely a hit in our books!

Bacon Jam

When Gordon Ramsay’s Tiktok went viral, everyone was either intrigued or completely lost on what was going on, is it a sweet breakfast item or a savory item that goes into a burger? Well, we can tell you, you have got to try this bacon jam. Ramsay had this jam on toast and topped it with his iconic soft scrambled eggs.

The trick is to have a few different variations of bacon and cook it slowly. You also add in finely diced onions and allow them to caramelize, spices of choice, and brown sugar! If you aren’t a fan of toast you can put it in soup, as a dip on grazing boards, on waffles, pancakes, you can pretty much be as creative as you want!

Gigi Hadid’s Vodka Pasta

This spicy & creamy pasta was in every food lover’s content when Gigi Hadid posted a tutorial for the pasta sauce in an Instagram story. Not only were fans shocked to know that carbs are one of this supermodel's favorite food groups, but at how delicious these flavors tie up together! The amount of videos under #gigihadidpasta on Tiktok are unmatched til date, and for a right reason, this dish is delicious.

Ingredients:
onions + garlic (sautéed)
tomato paste (cooked off)
heavy cream (remember, simmer don’t boil!)
butter (what we’re cooking everything in)
vodka (leave out if you don't prefer to use alcohol)
red chili flakes (if you want a kick)
+ a healthy amount of starchy pasta water to emulsify and thicken up that sauce

Toppings:
shredded or thinly sliced parmesan
slivered basil leaves and/or cilantro

Grated Egg Avocado Toast

It sounds confusing to read that right? Well, you read right. We're telling you to take a fine grater and get going on a hard boiled egg. Avocado toast is one of those foods that taste like nothing if kept simple...guess being over the top isn't so bad at times huh? Next time you have it why not try this neat trick for that extra flavor?

We recommend sourdough bread toasted on the stove with avocado oil or butter, then adding on slices of avocado. This is important because if you mash it up, you run the risk of super soggy toast or it completely falling apart...either of those have the potential to completely ruin it for you.

Top it off with a grated hard-boiled egg, (maybe) cheese, even thinly sliced tomato if you will, and voila!
