Gazette Gal

Finding a perfect look for your brows can be challenging, especially with the many ways to style them. Natural brows always add to a sleek and clean everyday routine, whether brushing through them with Aquaphor or filling them in to match your color.

With that said, achieving the perfect natural brow look does not mean going without any products. Eyebrows contribute to your face's exterior structure and overall frame appearance — even if applying some of these products takes five minutes, it is absolutely worth it.

Alternatively, there are a lot of tools and techniques that can make them look overdone or over-laminated. With the influence of the "natural clean girl" look, finding products that will make your set look naturally perfect will elevate your look—even if you lack the categories of eyes, face, and lips.

So many products and tools help you achieve the perfect set of natural brows. Here are some must-try items.

Gels and Mousses

Gels and mousses are the most important part of making your brows look soapy, snatched, or laminated while still appearing seamless and natural. These products typically hold a certain shape and prevent straggling hairs when you feel like a mess! Listed are some of my personal favorites, TikTok cult classics, and serums to make your brows your bestie:

Tints and Pencils

Eyebrow tints and pencils can help fill in your brows and give you that effortlessly natural look, especially if you're not thrilled with the shape or style of your eyebrows. These tints and pencils are meant to fill in your brows in places where you might feel they are lacking. Tools like these are a fantastic solution to maintaining long-lasting, naturally full brows as long as you find the right product to match your color…

Tools

Of course, gels, tints, and fill-in pencils help to make your eyebrows look naturally full. However, if you aren't into products that give your brows a more natural look, you can shape them with a pair of tweezers, scissors, or spoolers — my favorite. A dry brow applicator brush or spoolie paired with the perfect serum will give you a natural look, but pair them with the products above, and you will see your brows at their best.

Best Brow Practices

  • Carry around disposable eyebrow spoolies. This is affordable, clean, and can help your makeup look put together in an instant if you are rushing out of the house, heading into a meeting, or even just feel like you're in desperate need of a clean-up.
  • If you get your brows waxed and threaded, make sure to wait a few weeks before each session and ask to "keep the shape" for the most natural look. When your eyebrows look too thin after a wax, you might feel the need to add product to thicken them up. For the best results, if you wax or thread, make sure you properly communicate your expectations for your look!
  • When you take off your makeup, it's easy to forget to cleanse your brows. However, this is absolutely necessary for the healthiest and happiest brows! Follow this part of your routine with a brow serum to grow your brows in perfectly!
  • Touch them up yourself with tweezers! If you have a pair of tweezers, or get your hands on a set in the above list, use them! A lot of us are terrified to pull out our eyebrows, but a quick tweeze can change the whole shape of your face and make all the difference in your look.
  • If your gel feels too thick, mix it with a few drops of water. The water can break up some of the thickness, which will make your brows look less laminated and more effortless.
  • Find the best color and shape for you. As we know, everyone has their own unique looks. There is no specific way to do your brows, but these are one of the best assets when it comes to framing your makeup and facial look. If you can find a look tailored to you, stick with it, and watch how it makes you look effortlessly perfect.

Whether you like a natural bold or raw look for your brows, they are a massive part of any makeup look — which most of us don't consider. Having the perfect set of brows and not overdoing them by using light gels and no heavy lamination techniques will give you that perfect natural look, even if it requires a little bit of routine. So get in the habit of grooming those brows and watch them change your face!
