I personally love a good mini skater style skirt. This 100% linen piece is definitely giving coquette with the buttons up the front seam. It’s definitely more high waisted than what I’m used to (and the style nowadays is leaning towards low-rise,) but this piece paired with a milkmaid blouse or floral camisole gives off our favorite picnic-vibe. It’s not summer without a maxi — let’s make it linen. This straight-fit maxi from Stradivarius is drop dead gorgeous. It’s elegant, flattering, and most importantly, adjustable. This specific color of the piece is both sophisticated and sultry, can be dressed up for a summer brunch or worn with a fitted button down for a day in the office, and is effortlessly chic. These Uniqlo classic linen-cotton blend shorts are giving Indiana Jones, safari adventure, and “I love hiking.” I adore a good khaki moment, and this style is the perfect balance of a cargo-style and tailored look. The blue is definitely giving a coastal grandmother vibe that is chic and reminiscent of that “old money” aesthetic you keep hearing about on TikTok. I see this style as a perfect basic day short that can be paired with cute sandals or your favorite sneaker. Add a cute neutral tee and a linen button down and you have a comfy, effortlessly cute outfit for your morning coffee run.
We wanted you to see another tailored look, but this time with a straight-leg fit and more fitted than Everlane’s. These Mango trousers also have belt loops if you want to accessorize with a statement belt, or leave the style as is with a pair of sandals or ankle boots — it will look darling either way. White linen is classic and timeless; the tailored look in this color only emphasizes how effortlessly beautiful your outfit will look regardless of what you wear on top.
One of the more risky but necessary choices on our list: this beautiful patchwork ruffle midi from Anthropologie. Farmhouse chic is in (and if you haven't heard, you’re hearing it now). Likely best suited for a trip to the farmers market or a European summer, this high waisted petticoat style is gorgeous and it's all in the details. The floral meshes with the plaid in a way we didn’t know was possible, and the muted neutral gray and off white complement each other perfectly.
Anthropologie’s most classic item, The Collette, is offered in linen and cotton. The front pockets are a U-shape, offering a lot of space for your phone, lip balm, and keys. The style accentuates the length of your legs, and the wide-leg style is breathable and comfortable in the heat of the summer.
