Gazette Gal

Aside from the new year, another thing we’ll be celebrating at the start of this year is love with Valentine’s Day right around the corner. The festival of love doesn’t have to be exclusive to romantic partners. We love celebrating love in all forms, from relationships to friendships (but we are leaving the situationships in 2024). Whether you’re in a relationship and celebrating with a date night or have a girls' night planned for your "Galentine’s Day," we found some of our favorite looks to recreate for all occasions.

Sultry Reds

You can’t have a Valentine’s Day outfit without a look in red. It's bold and sultry, and obviously the emblem of Valentine's Day. Whether you’re fully embracing the color or just want a big pop with complimentary colors and neutrals, there are so many ways to style a look centered around red. I personally love the look with the oversized leather jacket. It’s bold but still feminine and romantic. It’s perfect for a day all about love.

Pretty in Pink

If you’re looking for something more subtle, maybe think pink. Red feels more mature and passionate, whereas pink is soft and romantic. If you’re looking for that softer look, maybe consider fabrics like satin or cashmere. With that being said, you can always go for a bold moment in pink with a blazer, while still keeping a more feminine and romantic look.

Black-Tie Affair

Valentine’s Day date nights can be as subtle or as dramatic as you want them to be. If you’re going for a more fancy, black-tie affair, we love these looks that scream old Hollywood romance. While it’s simple in its color palette, little additions like the bow or halter neckline make it so much more interesting and perfect for an evening of romance.

Comfy Clothes

Just because it's Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean a date night has to be outside. A good at-home date night is perfect if you want something more cozy. With that being said, comfy clothes don’t always have to be old T-shirts and sweats. Maybe splurge on cute pajamas or lounge sets to elevate your average night in. Or even consider dressing up a little more so you can feel fancy in the comfort of your own home
