It's no secret we love red carpet looks, and this year's Grammy's was no exception. So many big names in the music industry walked the red carpet in unique looks now making them trailblazers for some of the newest trends in fashion. What I love most about seeing these trends and styles is being able to recreate them for those of us who aren’t exactly walking the red carpet. We’ve pinpointed some of our favorite looks of the night and what made them so special, along with some finds that can help you recreate them.
Taylor Swift took her trademark red lip and brought the bright bold color to the rest of her outfit. Aside from the color, we love everything about the shape and silhouette of this dress. The contrast of the loose draping and the structured bodice makes it both elegant and sexy. A great way to recreate this is with a corset to give you the same structure and that accentuated waist. If you like the draping of the fabric and the movement more, a cowl neckline or even a wrap skirt can create that same effect.
We saw this color on many outfits for the Golden Globes, but we love seeing this modern princess look on Sabrina Carpenter. Everything from her hair to the color of the dress screams Cinderella, but there is a playful and flirty nature to her outfit from the feathers. If you’re looking to recreate this look, fabric is key. Something shiny and silky is what will give you that more luxurious look. If you’re looking to add the soft texture of the fur, consider using accessories like shoes or a bag to allude to this look but still make it more wearable.
There is something so mature and sexy about this dress that Olivia Rodrigo wore. While it's simple in its color and silhouette, this Versace gown does such a good job with the tasteful cutouts in the dress. What I love about her in this look is that Olivia is young and has a girly aesthetic to her music and fashion outside of the red carpet, but in this dress, there is a maturity and a strong sense of womanhood in this look that feels both fierce and feminine.
There was so much for Beyoncé to celebrate that night, but one of the things we’re celebrating is this all gold look. Everything from her head to her toes is shining in gold with beautiful white embroidery that feels so rich and regal. While not all of us have an excuse as good as a red carpet to get this dressed up, it doesn’t hurt to have a few metallic touches to your everyday outfits or a tasteful bling to your style.
