Gazette Gal

A new month means new favorite finds from our team. Outside of new products being released, we’ve also found favorites to cater to the colder months or new style trends that we’re loving.  Our editors have pooled together some of their favorite finds in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products. Without further ado, here are some of our favorite February must-haves.

Fashion

Season of Sophistication Cream Double-Breasted Coat - I’ve been using this coat almost everywhere I go. It’s so easy to dress up or down, the neutral color works with so many outfits and looks, but of course, the most important part is how warm it keeps you without being too heavy.

Windal Black Square Toe Mid-Calf Boots - A great pair of black mid-calf boots is like the white sneakers of winter. They work with jeans and skirts, and the square toe makes them a lot more comfortable while still looking chic.

Snug Long-Sleeve T-Shirt - I’ve bought these in almost every color. They make for the perfect comfortable base to layer on in the colder months. Not to mention, they’re great quality and style for such an affordable price.

Stubbornly Strong Sheer Rip-Resist Tights - My wardrobe staple for the winter is a good pair of tights. I love styling skirts and dresses in the colder months, but still want to stay covered. These ones from Sheertex are known for their durability and rip-resistance. Say hello to tights that will actually last so you don’t need to buy a new pair every two wears.

Lisa Jean - Dark wash jeans are a new wardrobe favorite. These ones from Revolve have a nice baggy fit, making it super comfortable and easy to layer if you need to wear tights underneath to keep warm.

Water Repellent Suede Clog Mule - Mules have been the go-to comfy everyday shoe for the last year. These ones from Quince take it one step further, allowing them to withstand a little drizzle, especially in the muggy winter weather.

Core Straight Leg Sweatpants - Our editors love a good elevated loungewear set, and these sweatpants from Elwood are a must-have for your comfy clothes. They do tend to run on the larger side, so we recommend sizing down, but if you prefer something that is a bit more loose-fitted and baggy, these are perfect.

Beauty

Espresso Peptide Lip Tint - I’m always looking for makeup that has skincare benefits. After getting the whole set of peptide lip tints this Christmas, I’ve been obsessed, especially with their espresso shade. This is the perfect dark and moody lipstick for cooler months, and because they’re just tints, they can easily work on all skin tones.

Amazonian Clay Blush - I love these blushes all year round, but when it comes to the winter month, the shade Paaarty is the perfect rosy soft blush for my winter skin tone. It sits on your skin with a natural finish, especially if you layer more dewy products underneath and set them with this powder blush to keep it natural.

Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Night Cream - This winter has hit harder than it has before, but as always I prefer to stay more hydrated in the cooler months. This moisturizer from First Aid Beauty is a great overnight cream, especially since it gets colder and drier in the evenings.

Quick Slick - My go-to hairstyle lately has been the half up half down do. Since my hair tends to be more frizzy and I have a ton of baby hairs and flyaways, this has been great for a cleaner look without weighing my hair down or looking too greasy. And since I love being scrappy with my beauty products, I’ve also used it as a light brow gel when I’ve needed it in a pinch.

Glow and Sculpt Face Serum Primer - This is the perfect dewy base for your makeup. But even more than that, the inclusion of niacinamide makes it a makeup with skincare benefits product to keep your skin extra hydrated and plump.

Snail Mucin 92% Face Moisturizer - Snail mucin has quickly become the secret to visibly healthy skin, and we've raved about COSRX products before. This moisturizer is a light gel cream that helps protect your moisture barrier and creates visibly healthy and hydrated skin.

Pout Preserve Hydrating Peptide Lip Treatment - These are much like the Rhode Peptide lip tints with the addition of fragrance and flavors. They also have more of an extensive shade range, including some with a shiny finish. These are great if you want to experiment beyond the basics of the Rhode beauty peptide lip tints.

Home

Hand-Knit Crochet Heart Cotton Throw Blanket - I think it's safe to say when it's cold outside, I opt to hibernate at home whenever I can. I always have plenty of throws and blankets lying around, and try to keep them as seasonal and decorative as possible. This one is perfect if you’re looking to decorate your home for Valentine’s Day and keep it cozy, comfy, and full of love.

BAGSMART Travel Duffle Bag - This has now been my go-to duffle bag for traveling. Whether that's driving away for a weekend or using it as a carry-on, the duffel bag and toiletry bag duo make packing clothes and other items so much more organized, but also so chic.

Ramona Coupe Glasses - I’m all for hosting get-togethers for different holidays. With Galentine’s Day coming up soon, I’m excited to bring out my cocktail-making skills with my famous espresso martinis. These glasses are perfect for that, and they’re so cute and dainty making it easier to store.

Women's The Brixton Mule Faux-Fur Lined Loafer Slippers - My home must-haves for this month are centered around comfort and warmth. These slippers add chic to that list. Just because you’re sitting at home, doesn’t mean you can’t look and feel great while you’re lounging around.

Vogue: The Covers - This is the perfect coffee table book if you're a fashion lover or always want to be en Vogue. It's chic, and works great on a minimalist coffee table as an accent piece or to match a maximalist aesthetic in a colorful apartment.

Rose Otto Glass Jar Candle - We've talked a lot about fragrances and trends we're seeing this year for body fragrances, but that doesn't mean it doesn't extend to your home. Sweet and floral scents are always timeless. Rose, in particular, is a personal favorite and this candle from Anthropologie will have your home smelling like a fresh garden on a spring day.
