Emily in Paris season four, part one released last week, and we couldn’t be more excited about the chic outfits Lily Collins is stunting in. Just in time for autumn, the character of Emily rocks the streets of Paris like it's her runway, and we’re just simply spectators gawking at the haute couture vibe she gives off so effortlessly. Rumor has it that Emily has been visiting the French Alps and Rome, in addition to other fun, European locations that show promise of even better-looking outfits (if that’s even possible).

Now, we know that the costume design team for the show has a pretty generous budget when it comes to dressing the characters we know and love, but sometimes, finding a dupe gets the job done without hurting our pockets. We all want to look like we’re strolling along the Seine in the ever-busy streets of Paris, but we don’t necessarily have Netflix money. The next best thing is fun look-alikes for a fraction of the price, but we tried to find some OG garments in case you’re looking to splurge on some tried-and-true haute couture pieces. Keep reading if you’ve been loving Emily in Paris season four, and cannot wait for part two to release in early September. We’ve listed our favorite looks from season four so far and included some yummy looks from previous seasons that we don’t think should be forgotten.

Season Four (Part 1) Look-book

Hot Girl Worker

Though the blazer isn’t double-breasted, it has a perfect fit and flare look that allows the jacket to be hyper-feminine. The single-button closure is sultry, but the multiple pockets refuse to sacrifice function over fashion. The best of both worlds, this blazer is a stunning addition to any working woman looking to add in some eclectic workwear to their closet.

Nothing screams “hot girl” like a bell-bottom pant, and the slits at the ankle modernize the well-loved look of a blazer and slacks. For ladies who aren’t keen on midrise pants, these high-waisted beauties can give you extra support in the tummy area on the days you’d prefer it. You can pair these with bright, fun shoes pictured above, or you can mimic the entire Emily fit and stunt in some pointed-toe booties.

A good block heel is perfect when you’re running in the streets of Paris from lover to lover and job to store and then back to work. These shoes are definitely not exact dupes as Emily’s footwear is on the shinier side, but the real star of the show is the pantsuit. Throw in a chic tote or mini purse like Emily, and you’ve got yourself an outfit that exudes confidence and couture.

Pattern Princess

This mini cardigan is to die for. It’s not quite cold yet as we are still in August, but sometimes the late evening chill can make us feel a little bitten. This mini cardi, like Emily’s, adds a pop of color to outfits that need it or don’t need it at all. We all know Emily’s character experiments with her outfit choices, and this cardigan can inspire any woman to take the leap outside of neutrals and jewel tones. The texture of this piece is also so chic.

This is definitely a steep purchase (if you can find it, it’s sold out everywhere) & yes it's maxi. A sweet fit and flare moment, this Serafini floral number is satiny, loud, and proud. I’ve been trying to find something like it, but it appears this print is one of a kind. I can understand why. The same print is featured in Emily’s bustier/short combo, but I’ve yet to see that on the market. I guess we can just stare at the screen and hope something like this comes to fruition in an affordable manner. Sighs. Someday…

Kate Spade, the woman that you are. Gingham is always in, but this unique green hue is new to me, possibly not new to you. The green accents complement the darker emerald we see Emily wearing, and green and pink go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Paddington Chic

The leather shirt jacket Emily wears in this scene is a hefty price (don’t ask, just trust me.) We opted for a Free People button-down that boasts comfort and acts as an ode to the brighter days (even if the color resembles a kiddie rain jacket). Primary colors seem to be a running theme this season, so think about ditching some neutrals and opting for bold solids. You might be surprised at how darling they can be.

Peasant sleeves and ruffle? Yes, please! Though they might seem like they wouldn’t fit together, the button-down and blouse moment is proven to look chic, as seen on Emily pictured above. Of course, playing with different types of fabrics might add some more fashion value to this look, but we’re in no place to get too picky. If you think this blouse would flatter you, we say take the leap. This, paired with a cute corduroy mini skirt, definitely shouts “twee”.

Emily seems to be really into the preppy aesthetic, and this skirt is exactly that. Not much to say on this one except love it. Monochrome is back and ready to take on the fashion cycle.

A bright yellow accessory ties this outfit story together. Like I said, this look plays with fabric and texture. Instead of a plain old yellow bag, opt for a quilted or crocheted bag instead. This keeps the outfit from looking too monotonous, and instead screams, “I carefully put this outfit together.”

An Homage to Past Seasons

Colorful Corporate Girly

A sleek and breathable button-down gives off office siren vibes, and we all know Sylvie is the mother of all of them. As she should. The color story of her outfit is interesting because she sticks to one primary color, red, but reaches for different hues that don’t necessarily look like they’d work well together but do in the best way possible. This blouse, tucked into some burgundy pants…mother.

I know I said I love the ultra wide-leg look, but my-oh-my. This more fitted leg silhouette definitely works with a tucked-in button1-down blouse because we don’t want the entire outfit to resemble a potato sack. I know some of us can pull it off, but I’m definitely not one of them. Sylvie is sensual, confident, and knows it — and these pants paired with the Billie blouse show us exactly that. God, I love Parisians!

Low-Effort Haute Couture

Camille gives off that extremely effortless French girl vibe, oppositional to Emily’s very put-together looks for scenes. This tube top can be worn to the mid-drift or transformed into an adorable bandeau with a chic bolero overtop, it’s completely up to you. All we know is that Camille is stunting like nobody’s business in this chic yet casual number.

This cropped cardi, similar to Emily’s pink one, is so delicate and hyper-feminine. Camille ditches texture and opts for what seems like an acrylic/cotton mix, which can definitely keep you warmer as Autumn starts rolling in. The red of the bandeau complements the off-white color of this Mango piece, adding a pop of color without asking for too much attention. The bold red lip you pair with this outfit will scream French girl.

A good wide-leg jean is a necessity to channel your inner Parisian. If we’re running with the effortless French girl vibe, instead of reaching for the skinny jeans or mom fit, consider moving into a more relaxed silhouette. Not only will your outfit be thanking you, but your body will be, too! The high-rise fit offers extra support to your midsection but still allows some skin to show with the bandeau and mini cardigan combo.

Camille is very rarely shown in sneakers (just my observation). I think it’s because she treats a cozy, durable penny loafer as such instead. The shoes of this outfit show intention; instead of grabbing a black pair of loafers and calling it a day, Camille goes for a B&W concept instead that calls attention back up to the torso. Absolutely chic. Season 4, part two of Emily in Paris airs September 12th. Get your baguettes ready!
